  I loved the location of the hotel and the views from the breakfast terraces facing the islands of Baziluzzo and Stromboli. I loved the decoration, so charming and elegant and tasteful. The photos didn't do the place justice at all. On entering our room, the view of the sea, greenery, sunshine and the sound of crashing waves was breathtaking! Our room was not typical of 5* luxuary but had been thoughtfully furnished with a nice firm mattress superking unlike a lot of other hotels.   We were very impressed by the way staff arranged all transfers particularly because we did not speak Italian. The desk staff were wonderful. Such a relief to be able to communicate in English. Loved the place. - Great staff, beautiful grounds.

  We traveled out of season (March) and found Villaggio Stromboli as one of the few places operating. We truly loved the place. It consists of a set of rooms/villas on terraces overlooking the ocean and a lovely black sand beach, with direct views of the Strombolichio and the sea in the front, and the volcano in the back. It was quiet, well kept, and made up - This hotel was absolutely breathtaking and perfect for our stay in Stromboli. The hotel driver was waiting our arrival at the port when our ferry came in at 5:40 and he took us to the hotel. There was a sitting room for us to enjoy while we waited for our room to become available. The staff was most welcoming. Francesca spoke English and was able to assist us with everything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

  The hotel provided a shuttle service free of charge. There was a lovely man waiting for us when we got off the hydrofoil, which made the travel a lot less stressful.
