  The popilia country resort was very relaxed and comfortable with friendly helpful staff and an excellent restaurant. The view from our hotel room was magnificent. The surrounding area had many picturesque towns to visit both inland and on the coast. The gelato in Pizzo and Tropea was superb. The room was modern, comfortable and clean. We didn't have breakfast as we had to leave at 7am for the airport.
