  We liked everything about this hotel as our ratings show.The staff were lovely, friendly, spoke magnificent English and could not have done more to welcome us. The hotel was a 5 minute stroll from the centre of Orta and within easy reach of Sacro Monte.. The view from our window of Isola San Giulio was superb. The restaurant we could not fault. We had a comfortable room, a nice balcony (overlooking the town, lake and island) and the staff, mostly one family, were helpful and friendly. The pool is a bonus. The distance from the village centre is just right - a brief stroll but far enough away.

  The shower..I Stayed alone, but I suggest for couples..amazing bigshower! Gorgeous buffet breakfast - The proximity to the square and the lake was fantastic. I loved the views from our loft room. Apart from the breakfast staff the hotel staff were very nice, friendly and helpful.

  The staff really took care of us. Our first night we slept in the Quadruple (the room for four persons at the top of the house) at Santa Caterina, and it was nice.   The location of the hotel is perfect, it is right on the piazza of the village and literally by the lake. We stayed in the junior suite and the view was amazing. The room was very spacious and had a great bathroom. The staff in the reception and the restaurant are very attentive, friendly and try to be helpful whenever they can.
