A wonderful stay and the perfect base from which to explore beautiful Orvieto. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful decor and luxurious bedding made our stay perfect. Breakfast was good with all of the usual Italian breakfast options and cappuccinos made to order. We loved our stay and hope to come back again. We found Giorgio very helpful, friendly and hospitable. I loved the old world ambience combined with state of the art heating and comfort. Giorgio has an eye for interior art and design, beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated. We loved our stay and only wished it had been longer.
所有评语 » Giorgio, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful - lovely, stylish rooms, a great quiet location with a beautiful hike just behind the hotel. Very quite and quaint, super comfortable and special. Misia Resort's location makes it a great respite for sightseeing in and around Orvieta. The attention to detail and design, with the guest's comfort in mind, made it our favorite stay during a 3 week trip across Italy. The owner was very attentive. His recommendation for dinner at a local winery was excellent. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the locale is beautiful with a great view of Orvieto. Lovely room with great views. Owners were very friendly and hospitable and helped us plan our daily activities including restaurant recommendations and bookings. This place is a gem. Giorgio could not be a better host and the rooms are designed by an artist, Giorgio. Che piacere. Close to Orvietto but has the feeling of seclusion. Great beds. Beautiful, relaxing, excellent customer service - a beautiful setting in Tuscany. She made some expresso for us after we arrived, which was kind of her. Staff was friendly and provided great service. Interior was well-appointed and fashionable. Plastic disposable glasses in the room should be replaced daily or preferably a glass cleaned daily. Lousy breakfast. Locating the hotel was very difficult. Signage was minimal and hard to find. Got lost again trying to return after trip to Orvieto. Much too secluded for us. Only one other guest was in residence. Breakfast was OK but coffee maker broke down and couldn't have any. Had much better experiences at other hotels in Umbria. Walls are paper-thin. Better hope your neighbor isn't on their honeymoon, or doesn't use the bathroom while you're in your room. Misia is really far away from Orvieto. Only stay there if it's a home base for travel and you have a car.
