The hostess is charming and cheerful -- local wine in antique glasses on arrival; Neive is prototypical small, quiet Piedmont wine town -- a few streets, church on the hill, surrounded in all directions by vineyard- covered hillsides with the Alps in the distance. Several restaurants within a short walk.
