  I have always found the Carlton to have all ready upon my arrival. My room was available and all was in order. The staff is always very helpful and informative. You cannot beat the location of the hotel to the great shops.

  Location -- right next to the Galleria, Luini's, and the Duomo. Valet car service (75 euros a day though). Large hotel room; very spacious. Espresso machine in room. Free beverages in the room.
