  The Sunflower is not located in city centre but very close to the tram station that can take you to the tube so within 15-20 minutes you can get to Duomo. It's a good compromise between price and location. As Milan is a safe city even in the middle of the night you can go back to the hotel with no feeling of fear.   We had informed the hotel of our early arrival, so they made sure that the room was ready when we got there at 11am, which was very convenient. They were very accommodating in getting us in last minute when the hotel I originally booked informed us that they had overbooked and had no room for us. The room was small but efficiant, beds comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of fresh pastry, coffee and fruit.   We were surprised about the good value of this hotel which is in a walking distance of the central railway station. We didn't expect such a modern nice room (got luckily one on a very high floor with a look to the penthouse opposite). No noise from the street. The little old tramway stops only 100 mrs away.
