The hostel is in an incredible location with rooms that look out over the spectacular lake como and the mountains in the background. The staff are wonderful and make you feel right at home as well as sharing any knowledge of the area that might help in your further travels in the area or beyond. All the staff speak excellent english as well as a number of other languages which makes it very easy to communicate! The food is also top quality at a reasonable price!.

The idea of suggesting barbecue to the guests on Saturday evening was brilliant. The Camaraderie !!!! Visitors AND staff! The cooked meals. The proximity to anywhere in Italy-including the ferries. Fantastic Service,help and going the extra mile to solve problems. The hostel staff was great and the food inside the hostel was cheap and awesome. The location of the hostel is very good and it has a car parking just nearby. The people were warm and helpful. The location is superb, and the food was very good. Quick replies to correspondance...thorough + thoughtful. Very friendly approachable helpful staff who are happy to guide you to various locations. Spectacular views and location. Overall a great little hostel with a lot going for it for a very reasonable price. I would stay here again. everyone was very helpful just there for one night,but it seems to be very well run. Staff, food, convenience, price. barbecue ambiente. Friendly hostel. Room was old but clean. Free wifi, option to dine cheaply in the evening - great views over the lake.Value for money :-). Atmosphere, meals, music, the way we were treated by the hotel staff, excellent view from the window. - neighborhood - breakfast - country town - local restaurants - people. excellent location. View Frindly staff. The only thing was that we booked a triple and a double room for our family group of five - and in fact there were five beds in the triple room and four in the double one. If we knew we could save half of the cost of staying. I would advise to check this with the hotel before you come. Not a thimg !. The fact that I didn't feel safe leaving my valubales around in the room (the rooms don't lock and the entrance code to the building is trivial). Included breakfast limited to bread - no toaster available & cereal Bus drive to menaggio & back -a hair raising experience. Nothing really. I am a big guy, so the showers could be a bit bigger, but they were clean and hot, so no worries. colazione scarsa. Breakfast very minimal (Bread, jams and coffee/tea). Other options were available at extra cost though. The hotel have at least 3 different names which make it difficult to find and reach its premises. - as a youth hostel, a little expensive. it was dirty and there was spiders in our room. Old building.
