  The Staff were extremely polite which is always important but particularly so when you're staying somewhere for more than a couple of nights. The location was perfect - Marina Di Massa is a beautiful little town with loads of great restaurants, some very cool bars, and the hotel is a stone's throw from the beach. Also, it is a 20 second walk to the pier where you take the boat to the Cinque Terre - an absolute - The location of this hotel is perfect - in a nice part of the Riviera (relatively quiet but still with all the restaurants, beaches etc.) just a minute's walk from a nice piece of public beach and the private ones too. The hotel is in a block surrounded by some park land so we felt we could choose whether to be part of the crowd or get some space.
