  An easy walk from Piazzale Roma bus station and Santa Lucia train station (no boat to catch, no dragging suitcases through the heavy tourist traffic).   I rented 2 apartments, both were on the top floor of a former palace. Both were incredible. Well furnished, very clean and orderly. The location could not have been better. Less than 1/2 block from the Vaparetto stop, within walking distance of San Marco, shopping, restaurants, etc. The terrace in one apt and view of the Grand Canal and Venice in ... 别人怎么说 » the other made our stay very special. I highly recommend these apts. Special thanks to Silvia. She was incredible to work with. She is a real asset to - Extremely positive attitude from the rep of the company that lets the apartment - very helpful in every respect. We also liked a terrace - though quite small, it was good we had it. Location was also very convenient - no noise, but very close to Ca'Razzonico vaporetto stop and one of major squares - St. Margherita, as well as shops and restaurants. Air-conditioner also is a huge advantage - we would not survive in Venice in July without it.

  Our family of 4 had the apt near San Samuele. The 2 bdrms were on the 2nd floor and the kit/dining, livingroom were on the 3rd.
