Francesco and his staff were very friendly, gracious and helpful. He was ready and waiting with a map of the city and the surrounding neighborhood. All of Francesco’s recommendations and tips for restaurants, landmarks and transportation were spot-on. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and charming. We had not wanted to stay right in the centre of the city the situation of this hotel was great, nice and relaxing after walking all day. Everything about the Hotel 47 experience was excellent, from the moment
we walked in to the moment we left. The location for a visit to Rome was
perfect for those whe enjoy walking around a city. It was close to many
of the major monuments, resteraunts, and public transport. The
accomodation was excellent with wonderful views over some of Rome's
ancient temples. The breakfast was very good and staff helpful.

here again simply for the service. -
The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.
