We asked he for help in August for a late Sept visit, but that restaurant was closed for August. She wrote down our request in her diary and called the restaurant the first day it opened. Incredible! Close to shops. - I mentioned to the porter before arriving that this was our 25th wedding anniversary and the manager took the time and trouble to send us a lovely handwritten note and a complimentary bottle of prosecco. All staff I met were top-notch and took a real interest in making us at home. I still cannot believe we got such a high-quality hotel in the centre of Rome at such a competitive rate!
