An easy walk from Piazzale Roma bus station and Santa Lucia train station (no boat to catch, no dragging suitcases through the heavy tourist traffic). There was absolutely no noise from the train station or the canal adjacent the apartments.

The apartment was a lovely surprise. The building is quite new on two levels curving around a canal with a residential piazza at the front. Everything was wonderful! Hossep, the manager, was the most helpful person ever, the appartment was perfect, spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The location is fantastic, next to the most beautiful church in Venice and looking out onto the lagoon with views of Murano. And a hop and a skip from the vaporetto stop. Beautifully quiet but with facilities nearby and within easy walking distance of the tourist areas (if you are up for that sort of thing). Loved it, loved it!!
