  Unfortunately we had problems with other booking so we did reservation in Residence the same evening we arrived. The reception has been already closed but manager came from home to organize check in. There was a notice not to touch the switch for the hot water in the bathroom. Just take note that the switch has to be constantly "ON".   We absolutely LOVED House Monti!! In fact, on an 8 month trip around the world this is one of my top rooms! The staff was really serviceminded and helped us call about our luggage since we weren't able to recieve it when we were on a guided tour. High speed free internet.   When we arrived, we had the pleasant surprise to get an upgrade from a normal room to a studio (with kitchenette). The room is very comfortable and spacious enough.. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and nice (though we arrived at about 11am, our room was ready).   We stayed 5 nights in the spacious and quiet apartment with garden, two streets away from the B&B rooms. It was nice to sit and relax in the garden after walking all day. The location in Trastevere is excellent: the Vatican and all of Rome's museums are in walking distance (1 h max and you always walk through streets with other "must see" foru... 别人怎么说 » ms, parks, churches...). Fine bars and restaurants are nearby (we only cooked once in 5 days, usually on holiday, we cook every second day). Franceska - The staff were so friendly and helpful and it was the best location in Rome to stay if you want to be close to restaurants and bars and only a short walk from all the main attractions.
