Husband speaks excellent English, long'ish walk to centre of town but short taxi ride or hire bikes from the city scheme - a lovely way to get around. We were a bit worried about backing onto the railway, but even back room the noise was negligible. Recommended

The flat we were in had 2 rooms, Our room was excellent: it was newly refurbished, very clean and with a new bathroom. From outside the other room looked as good.
The owner was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us a lot of pointers and made us feel very much at ease. He also prepared the breakfast for us and it was good, but of course not as good (mostly in terms of variety) as you'd get in a 4* hotel.
