Breakfast was good with beautiful views from the top of the hotel of the city. Staff very attentive and friendly, the conceirge at the front desk the day we arrived was excellent in helping to show us where to go and where to eat.

The grounds are gorgeous, rooms comfotable and meals generous. I don't speak a word of Italian but still managed to communicate well enough with the sisters. It's nice to end the day of seeing Florence's sights with an evening here - stay for a dinner one night too. The bus into town is about 10min walk - so take a taxi there from station (about 12euro) if you've got baggage then jump on the bus the other days. I loved it here.
