  We used as a base to visit Naples and Pompeii. It was fine for this. We drove to the local station and went in to Naples buy train. (Your a braver man than me if you drive in). 40 minutes by train. Naples can get a bad rap these days but if you are careful it's a great city to visit with some outstanding thing to see and do. They accompanied us to the best Metro-station for visiting Napoli. Breakfast was great. The rooms are large with a kitchen, 2 airco's, balcony and a sitting room. A beautiful swimming pool. The money more than worth.
