The owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay more comfortable, recommending excellent local restaurants and helping us find our way around. The location was unbelievable (the Duomo was at the end of the street and everywhere else was easily accessible, including the train station- 3mins walk max) and the price we paid for 7 nights was astoundingly cheap (we calculated it ourselves to make sure we had enough and it was much cheaper than our estima.
所有评语 » Excellent position. Easy to find, close to the train/bus station and just 1 minute walk from the Duomo. Great terrace view, in summer should be more useful as it rained during our stay in Florence the woman at the reception was very kind and helpful. She let us leave the luggage and arranged our check-in even if we weren't able to meet her as arrived. After all for such a price and a strategic position it's a really good choice for those who care about the money. It was easy to find. The room was great and the bed was super comfortable! You are able to go to the roof where the view is amazing!!! If you don't mind walking up a few stairs is it a great place to stay. Rosalba, the hotel manager, was absolutely wonderful. Hotel was neat and clean with a wonderful rooftop that provided a breathtaking view. Room was small and cozy, but comfortable. The staff was really nice and gave us spare keys, the balcony and from there to the city! really wonderful! The room is large and the location is really the best you can get!. Staff were really friendly. Location is excellent. Only a stroll from the station and a block away from the duomo. Very clean. Would go back there anytime. We absolutely loved the rooftop balcony. It's very unique and had superb views of the nearby Duomo. Also a terrific location and great value. Centrally located, good value old style hotel in nice building with roof terrace with panoramic viws over the city. The location is terrific. Rooms are very spacious. Clean and we had the best view. Roof terrace. the receptionist was very nice, she made the phone call to reserve my ticket to Uffici, I do appreciate. Very good location, in the city center. Fair for the room cost. Very central location, friendly staff. good location and room. The location is within 7 minute walk to the Duomo and its surroundings sites. It is also very close and easy to dind drom the train station which was a real plus. It is on the second floor which in Europe means third floor so keep that in mind if this is an issue. The room itself is nice, small, and clean. The bathroom is less so and ours had mold but if we kept the door closed there was no odor. Location View from the terrace. the location and the price!. Nothing. The double bed we booked was two singles pushed together which would inevitably slide apart over the course of the night, leading to one of us generally falling into the gap. There was some noise from the road outside but we did have the window open and given the location we didn't care. Even if for us (I speak Italian) it wasn't a problem the receptionist doesn't speak English very well. The rooms are situated on the 2nd floor so without an elevator with huge suitcases it could be inconvenient. The bathroom wasn't extra new but we found it clean and the hot water functioned well. The furniture is more antique kind but for us it wasn't a problem. No fridge in the room and no breakfast provided (my advise is not to have it just under the hotel as it costs more). The wifi didn't work in the room but if you went down a level it was fine :). A couple staircases to climb, somewhat difficult with luggage but not impossible. The staff didnt know very well English, the stairs with no elevator and the smell in the bathroom from the sewer of the shower. Not enough light in the rooms or in the lobby. Shower is a bit small. Bathroom was tiny.. Noise from the street below. The check in time is only until 7pm which is no flexibility because we can't assure the arrival time of railway train. small room,less than 12m2 no french window 图片骗人. Nothing. Poor breakfast, toilet facilities were not really user-friendly. Cramped room, didn't feel very clean. no internet in room. The mold in the bathroom and tiny shower that required acrobatic prowess to enter was a definite downside, as was the filthy door in the waiting room/lobby that was in our face every time we exited. Easy thing for the establishment to remedy with a little elbow grease except the shower enclosure that would require replacing. Removing the mold would be a plus though. the first day of staying there was no hot water. And reception was closed (about 8p.m.). Next day the problem was solved, but still - as far as the staff did not speak english - it was very complicated to figure out the situation. there is no elavator and many stairs if you have big suitcases its a nightmare!. Very warm. The air conditioning could not cope with cooling down the room and if left overnight would only cause a blocked nose. Poor soundproofing - and since hostel is on a busy street you can't leave window open in the eve - and you could hear everything from eventually noisy / disconsiderate neighbours. Filth. No WiFi as advertised. No AC as advertised. Receptionist spoke no English. Every part of this place was filthy. Would never recommend it to anyone.
