We booked the hotel based on previous good reviews and its position not too far from Verona and in Desenzano. Pleasant room on 4th floor ( 406) with balcony/terrace and overlooking Lake Garda. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful particularly Roseanne on reception. Excellent choices for buffet breakfast with hot and cold items on offer. A quiet calmness in general was evident throughout our stay at Vittorio and we enjoyed this. Very handy for restaurants, shops and ferries.
所有评语 » Fabulous setting. We had a top floor room overlooking the lake, what a great view we had. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfasts were good with plenty of choice. The location was perfect, easy access from the train station, it could be walked however we chose to get a taxi. All the shops and restaurants are very close, with lots of choice. All in all we had a great holiday and would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Vitorrio. Fantastic location. Old port is next corner to it. Our room was spacious, and with a small terrace with sunbathing bed. View from the room was amazing. Breakfast was quite good for a 3* Italian hotel. Staff were all really helpful and kind.Desenzano is a great city, and this hotel is great starting point for exploring it. If you have kids, Gardaland which is 20min by car is a must! Would choose this hotel again for sure. position - busy road but overlooks the lake and we had the bonus of a terrace. Good double glazing with air con made the road ok. would be horrible in high season. Very clean. Friendly staff even though they multi-tasked. Seemed like a fair three star rating. Breakfast had a fair choice for continental brekky. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were given lots of information/suggestions about the ferries around the Lake, the towns to visit and places to eat. Breakfast was excellent - huge choice. Room was fantastic with a large balcony and terrace. Wish we could have stayed longer. Lake Garda is stunning. Lovely hotel. Excellent position right by the lake. Was in a front facing room with terrace. Great restaurant right next door excellent for afternoon drinks and an evening meal. We hired a car and desenzano was a great base to explore lake garda and surrounding area. Good breakfast too. It was in an ideal position for travelling and sightseeing and had lovely views over the harbour. All the staff were really friendly and helpful - especially the reception staff who went out of their way to be extra helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of choice. Position of hotel and rooms were great. Nice breakfast was displayed every morning. Had a balcony water-facing room which was great !!! A special treat was the market that was on the Wednesday. Situated in the heart of Desenzana. Lots of restaurants & shops nearby. You can walk to 2 beach areas and ferry terminal 5 mins walk away. I did like the location as it was central to the town but it was quite a walk from the station and would not attempt to walk up the hill going back . The hotel is in a great location on the waterfront and it was great to have a balcony overlooking the lake from my 4th floor room. The hotel has good location. Nearby there are many nice restaurants & shops. We have the room with a balcony & nice view over lake. Breakfast was good & staff very polite. Car parking 5 minutes walk away was a little inconvenient but meant the car was secure in underground parking, 9 euros /day charge for this. Nothing to dislike. Small things-no basket case in a room, small TV with limited choice of channels (but who cares about TV on lake Garda), 2 shower batteries in the bathing tube, but one was broken, some of the lights in the bathroom didn't work, and nobody fixed that. All in all-not a big deal, and nothing too serious to ruin our stay. No tea/coffee making facilities, or not able to have tea/coffee in the hotel apart from at breakfast. Lake Garda is an expensive area and it got a bit silly having to pay 2.5 to 3 euros for tea in a café (mug of hot water and a tea bag!) or tiny cup of coffee. Rooms are not very big but compensated by large terrace. Bar would be useful (if prices a bit more reasonable than the local cars). Only one pillow (but they came up with more). Nothing. My room was very nice but situated above a rather noisy restaurant which played loud music till well after midnight. As a result I had to keep my windows closed. If I had to be critical the only thing I can honestly say was not really up to standard was the hairdryer - it was like a ducted vacuum cleaner... but that is now being critical. At least there was one there! other than that - nothing a lovely stay!. cant think of anything negative to say as overall we were very pleased with the experience. My room overlooked the square and restaurants and so was very noisy at night. Some soundproofing would easily fix this. We were in the part of the hotel with smaller balconies. I had no complaints with this hotel. There was no face tissues in the bathroom!. Distant parking. Mattress was hard as a rock. The breakfast was good but could have been better, a lack of fruit,yogurt ect... Alot of breads and pastries. One room air conditioner was weak. But hey, the view was fabulous!. Nothing. old fashioned hairdyers . no facility to make A drink in the room . only a VERY minor thing, would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in room. Public transport was very poor, train system was particularly poor. If rainy not a lot to do. The only thing I didn't like was the hairdryer, wasn't at all effective. breakfast. Would have liked te/coffee tray in room. The bed and pillows. Air conditioning unit was old and unable to cope with temperatures of over 30 degrees. Room was too hot. Breakfast poor no orange juice and hot selection was cold and disgusting. Basic room, but you get what you pay for. Parking 10 min walk away from hotel although you can park outside hotel to drop off bags. I did not like the fact that it did not have abar as advertised it was ajoined to the resturant next door which was a bit pricey, so there was no where to relax an dhave a quiet drink an di would have liked to have had apool biiut that was my fault for booking that hotel I had asked for a grounf fllor room as that had a little garden but I did not get one, los of nicer hotels in the same arear that had a pool and a bar for the same price. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable and the lack of tea and coffee making facilities was disappointing since the hotel did not have room service or a bar area for those guests wishing to avail these services. They advised that this could be obtained from the bar next door but when we enquired, they would only serve this on their premises. Our room was on the 2nd floor & it was very noisy because of the road in front of the hotel. After our occupation the room we found room not very clean.No any facilities for drying swimsuits & underwear. No hooks for towels.
