We had thought we would take day trips by train initially, but thay was not realistic. Anyway, the converted farmhouse was charming, the breakfasts were good, the pool was as it was described and the owners and staff were extremely nice and accommodating. We would recommend it to others.

  Actually everything on the Hotel was a positive experience. Location is good, quite in the nature on the top of a small village where you can enjoy good view and relax your soul. Rooms and facilities are romantic and give a nice feeling of privacy inside the Villa Area. Quality accommodations in traditional Tuscan style but with helpful mod cons such - We were booked in for one night and loved it so much we stayed four nights. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with a real Tuscan feel about it. Very relaxing in a rural setting with Cortona less than 10 minutes away. Donata made us feel welcome and provided much information about Cortona and surrounding areas. Ideally located for exploring neighbouring towns and villages. Donata provided excellent hospitality to us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a home away from home.
