Amazing hotel in amazing city. The room Camino was big, with old fireplace and even with light smell of cinder, very nice and comfortable.Good equipped bathroom. Also it's so good to have exellent restaurant at the same place you live. Convinient location. Brilliant pie at the breakfast, like in childhood, cooked by grandma)) Friendly atmosphere, everybody is touching helpful. Dolce Maria has a wonderful friendly atmosphere, the staff are very helpful and kind, the owner paola is very helpful, accomodating and makes you feel at home. The rooms are very spacious clean and well presented. The breakfast was perfect, homemade cakes as well. I would definately recommend staying at Dolce Maria, Also a thank you to Paola's mother.
所有评语 » It is the very pleasant family managed B&B located in the family palazzo in the heart of Cortona. The very good family restaurant is located on the ground flour of the same palazzo. The cuisine is very good and the wine list is interesting. And I cannot forget the homemade marmalade!. Everything! Paola & staff were very welcoming & friendly. The room was large & comfortable. Breakfast was good with a selection of cereals, toast, pastries, juice, tea & coffee. The family also run a restaurant on the ground floor and serve excellent meals. The location was perfect - very close to the main squares but on a quieter side street. Our room was very pretty and comfortable. The shower water pressure was very low, barely a dribble. Nice breakfast room and good food. The room was clean and beautiful. The place had a lot of character and the staff was friendly and so accommodating. Breakfast was great as well! Overall, it was a great stay in a lovely B&B. Wonderful convenient location in Cortona. Walking distance to all. Warm friendly service and lovely breakfast. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again on my next visit to Cortona. Old world ambience and architecture. Rooftop view. Great Italian cuisine at restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was ok.We moved to a friendlier hotel after one night and loved the welcoming staff and room for slightly more cost than Dolce Maria...what a difference! Dolce Maria is overpriced for what you receive. We love cortona. Friendly owner. Excellent restaurant. Good breakfast included. Homely atmosphere. The sound from interior yard was rather annoying especially when there was a kind of party in the restaurant. Nothing. We wished that we had allowed ourselves a longer stay. Multiple flights of stairs. Minor inconvenience in that parking was about a ten minute walk away from the hotel. Nothing. The wi fi did not work in the room at all which was very frustrating. Unfortunately we weren't warned about the amount of stairs to drag our suitacases although gianni kindly helped us. It wasn't the place to stay if you wanted to come back mid day for a rest because the amnt of stairs was too onerous. The atmosphere was rather spooky as you never saw the staff except the girl at breakfast. Inadequate heating in room for the unseasonably cold weather. Inadequate lighting in bedroom for reading. Shower poor and hot water not always hot. No lift but we are fit for our age. Other older couples could find second floor room challenging. Wifi not in bedroom as claimed for most of the 6 days we stayed.
