  We were staying in Milan and decided last minute to visit Como so booked this place the night before driving out. We arrived too early to check in but the lady on reception was very pleasant and gave us some suggestions of what to do in the meantime.   The hotel was lovely. the rooms were quite small but perfectly adequate. we had a room overlooking the lake with a balcony which was lovely and it had air conditioning. Great location to visit other towns on Lake Como--steps away from the boat that takes you around the lake. Walking distance to an inexpensive grocery and a mini bar to store food in.
