We had an early flight from cia on Saturday morning so drove from Bisceglie (near Bari) to Rome on Friday and had pre-booked this hotel. I was already looking forward to staying here as within 2 minutes of making the booking, I was contacted directly by the hotel to check what our specific requirements were with regards to the sleeping arrangements for my children. The email was friendly and welcoming much like the ambience of the hotel. As soon as we pulled up outside it looked very charming. .
所有评语 » La Villetta Suite is Tucked away in a quiet private road.Perfect when you are visiting Rome. Upon arrival We were greeted warmly by Luca. The room was ideal large enough for 2 adults & 2 teenagers. There was a small minibar/fridge. When I asked for a kettle (& tea cups,sugar..)it was also very quickly given to me. The atmosphere there was very relaxed and quiet. The hotel was secure, gate locked at night,you just needed a password to enter. We had a small balcony where we had a nice vi. La Villetta is an enchantment. It is a villa converted to a new, 8-suite property and run in every way more like a luxury boutique hotel than a B&B. For being next to an airport, it is a veritable oasis with a beautiful garden and pool. The rooms are spotless, brand new and in the best taste. Everything looks, feels and smells good. Smoking indoors is strictly enforced and that's a great thing. I found it a great value too. The young Italian couple that run it are incredibly refined, profes. Hotel staff were very accommodating. My flight landed at 11:30pm and by the time I got to the hotel it was midnight or shortly thereafter. Although reception usually closes at 8pm, and since I had notified them of my late arrival, they made sure to have someone at the desk until I arrived. In fact, since I was even a little later than I had expected, they notified letsbookhotel.com who sent me an email message advising me of the arrangements made for my entry into the hotel. This was very reass. I cannot say enough good things about La Villetta Suite Hotel. The room and entire property were attractive and well maintained. The two desk managers - both called Luca - were extremely hospitable, helpful and professional. They advised on local restaurants (EstroGusto, a 5 min. walk away was excellent), train transit into Rome (a 5 min walk to station and a 20 min. ride), arranged taxis to both Ciampino and Fiumicino airports, and printed our boarding passes. Convenient, hospitable, attracti. Before booking I emailed them asking a few general questions about getting from the airport to the hotel- they replied straight away. Everything about the hotel was lovely- clean, spacious and modern. Made us feel very welcome. When leaving to head into Rome, they clearly explained where to get the train (only around the corner and cost €1.50 one way, 20mins into centre) and handed us a map with all the details on in English. If had another weekend break in Rome I would stay at this hotel again. The whole experience was fantastic. The staff were very welcoming and made us a pot of tea on arrival.The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean, with excellent shower and bathroom facilities. It's set in lovely gardens with pool. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and recommended and booked a restaurant for us. Breakfast was very good too. We will definitely use this hotel again. Excellent as well as being very convenient for Ciampino airport. This small friendly hotel was a gem. The staff were very helpful. It was clean throughout and the surroundings were well maintained. The pool was a lovely bonus after a long day in Rome. The restaurant around the corner serves good food, in abundance. Be careful if ordering the special menus, you may find the courses just keep coming and coming .......... Easy connection to central Rome form the local train station. Euro 1.50 each way!. The hotel is set in a quiet street with beautiful gardens surrounding. A lot of thought has gone into the design and co-ordination. It has been recently re-furbished and everything is modern and new. The best part however is Luca the owner who was so helpful to us. He couldnt be more obliging. Even gave us a lift when we needed it. A true gentleman and speaks good English which is a bonus in Italy. Many thanks. The hotel was ideally located for Ciampino airport whichwas why we chose it, however now that I have stayed there it is an ideal base to explore that part of Italy. The hotel was set in beautiful gardens and had a pool. The room was outstanding with a fabulous jacuzzi bath. The staff were very helpful and friendly from time of initial booking to departure. Would definately look to return. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome - very convenient (Only 20 mins by train from the end of the road) and very comfortable. The staff were so lovely and helpful and it was really nice to escape to such a beautiful place at the end of a long day in Rome. The added bonus was the excellent restaurant down the road (Retro Gusto) - we ate there every night as it was so good!. I was greatly suprised to find such a nice place so close to the airport. Location is ideal, if you wish to stay close to airport - it's just 5min away (round the corner). Beautiful environment, beautifull villa, spacious and very clean rooms with elegant design. I confirm their "butique hotel" status - it's realy the one. Super friendly staff and ready to help. Realy a good finding!. Beautiful boutique hotel, very clean, modern and bright. We were a family of four in a spacious room, comfortable beds and pillows, ample supply of towels. We liked it so much for our stop-over (en route to Amalfi) that we booked another night on the way back. Staff were helpful and polite. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. And the pool is very inviting!. This hotel is a Little Gem, set in beautiful gardens with a pool and breakfast orangery. The rooms and facilities are FIVE STAR. I cannot fault it. I only wish we could have stayed more than one night. It is perfect for a weekend visiting Rome with the train station just down the road or for a stopover when using Ciampino airport. We will definitely be going back... Exceptional B&B, everything was wonderful; terrific service from friendly, helpful owner/staff. quality furnished accom. situated within relaxing gardens. Quiet suburban street with good access to city centre. Trainfare from Casabianca to Rome Termini 1.50 euro. Close to airport and under flightpath so some aircraft noise! taxi to airport 15/20 euros. A very nice b & B. Friendly manager. Good breakfast. Nice pool. 10 minute walk to railway station Casa Bianca, wherefrom you are for € 1.50 in 20 minutes in Rome Termini. Occasionally there will be a plane layer but for us this was no objection. Nice restaurant nearby. Right next station is a bar where you also can have a good meal for less money. I was very impressed on arrival to this hotel. Staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I was then further impressed when we saw our room, frankly it was immaculate. The villa is set in beautiful gardens of which we took photos and uploaded them straight to th Internet to show our friends. I would definately stay here again. The design was great and the staff was amazing.!I Have never got so much positive energy and seen so willing to help persons.It was clean and tidy.Close to the airport ciampino and the train station.Has transportation directly to Rome if you prefer a better&cheaper hotel instead of staying in the center of the city in weird hotel. The hotel was absolutely fantastic. It was brand new, with immaculate, tasteful decor. Although there is only a small selection of restaurants around the area, the train station is a 2minute walk away and takes only 15mins to Rome centre - no hassle. Staff (family run), were exceptional and I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We loved the atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel. The staff were so pleasant, welcoming and helpful. We loved the fact that we were only a short train journey into the hustle and bustle of Rome terminal and yet it was so peaceful and serene. Will definitely return to this hotel in the near future :)). This was one of the most pleasant stays we have had in preparation for an early flight out of Rome. Very quiet during the night 11.00pm to 6.30 pm. 5M to airport in taxi and fantastic for flights. 10 mins from station into Rome. We had a problem finding it as it was late and dark...with the help of a young man we found it...He was our TomTom. I would recommend a small very detailed road map on the Hotel Info flyer. When we finally arrived we were nicely welcomed. Very nice place, close to Ciampino airport and very convenient for early/late flights. Exceptionally friendly guy at the reception. Although it was off the beaten track there were excellent restaurants and a direct rail link to Rome easily in walking distance. Room was clean and spacious enough for the four of us. Near from the ciampione airport and also from the casabianca stasion where u can go to the main train station at rome, termini station. The room is clean and modern and the staff also very friendly. The bed was very nice as was the design. Shame as just stayed here a few hours in transit. But the taxi from the airport ripped us off. Excellent boutique hotel - vastly superior customer service than I have ever experiences in Italy before. Very friendly ,helpful and clean. Well run and a pleasure to stay there and would stay again if in Rome. Most everything and we were surprised as no tax levy was payable as the are situated in Casabianca. Nothing. The tiny minus, would have loved to stay longer!. Nothing. It is near Ciampiano airport which does mean that aircraft take off over head. However, it is not Heathrow, so it is not constant noise. The flights start at around 7am and finish just after 10pm. This is not a reason to discount this hotel. It is the only drawback. There is a lot of plane noise so if this bothers you then you might find it hard to sleep!. Because of it's proximity to the airport, which is why we chose this hotel, you do hear the planes. But a good set of ear-plugs can help, and Ciampino isn't as busy as Fiumicino, so that's a plus. But the children (and I) loved plane spotting at breakfast. A little more choice at breakfast too, like some fresh fruit would be good. The only fault was aircraft noise as the hotel is very near to ciampino but, as promised the airport does indeed close at night so no disturbed sleep. If you are tall the bed would be a little small,we weren't so everything was perfect.To go to the airport you either need to take the train and then the bus so you need to check the timetables or a cab it's close but it's more expensive. Noise of planes but this was chosen for its proximity so expected. Taxi 15 euros, expensive for 5 min ride. Nothing to note. Location was a little off the beaten track. A little bit tricky to find make sure you have specific directions. Just over 1 km from the airport, 15 euros in a taxi!! I think the hotel should offer a shuttle service for their guests as it is not possible to walk as all main roads. Since we arrived at the middle of the night and we didnt know other transportation, we got the taxi in front of the airport and the taxi driver pretend that he didnt know the location of the hotel in order to ask us to pay more. He ask for €20 to get to the hotel where the location is just 3km from the airport. nothing. They told us it wouls be max 15 euros and only 1.2 km from airport. It was 30 ruros and a 10 min drive awY. On the window in bathroom on skylight there was no curtain and maybe it would be worth putting on a blind. Wifi only worked near the door u couldnt do it from the bed. Couldn't find a fault. Ciampino is not a very nice place but the Hotel is an oasis!. Getting from the airport was a bit costly as the only means of getting there is taxi and most of the drivers wanted 40 euros. Eventually argued and it agreed a fare of 30 euros which turned into 35 as we had luggage!!!! As the journey is only a couple of minutes this was a pain! Would be good if hotel provided transport (even at a small cost). Not much - location a little isolated from Rome, but its only 20 minute train ride into Rome city centre, costing €1.50. nothing. Trenitalia let us down when one night while catching the last train home which changes over at Ciampino we were left stranded and had to pay 15 euro to get home. They could also consider leaving a coffee station in the room as we had nothing to enjoy after breakfast time.
