  The location in the heart of Umbria. The peace & the serenity of the countryside. The apartment was extremely clean, equipped & comfortable. The bed was the best.The owner was extremely welcoming. The breakfast was adequate but well served. The internet was fast & good connection. Reasonably easy to find but could do with better signag... 别人怎么说 » e from the main road. Wish we could have stayed longer to facilities were so good. - Borgo Badia is a lovely hotel/resort perched on a ridge overlooking the Umbrian countryside. It is a quiet retreat yet close to the many sights of the area. The restaurant has a very good menu serving delicious local fare. I would highly recommend Holiday House Borga Badia.

  Well managed site in lovely location (not inside Castiglione though- about 8km away!) Car necessary (we neally didn't hire -would have limited us enormously). Perfect for families. Lovely pools, lovely view of the lake, lots to do nearby and on site. A lively campsite in a great part of Italy. - Great stop over place and would return to do a week... 别人怎么说 » 's camping stay. Bungalow's great adventure. Didn't have a clue of what to expect and was impressed. Great way to make friends as everyone so friendly. Kids loved it!

  Loved everything about Locanda Poggioleone. Very clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished all around in the building. Beautiful grounds and outdoor dining. We enjoyed a delicsious meal that was home cooked with fresh local produce. The staff were friendly and very helpful with suggesting places to see in the area. Visiting Castiglione del Lag... 别人怎么说 » o was a highlight. We only stayed one night but would loved to come back to stay longer to see more of the region. Highly recommend this place. - The most beautiful hotel we have stayed in during our visit to Italy. We loved the timber throughout the interior and lovely furnishings. Very comfortable beds. Very nice bathroom and everything was really clean. We arrived in the evening and were able to have a delicious home cooked meal. The breakfast was also very nice with homemade pastries and cakes. Absolutely wonderful place to stay and we would love to come back and stay for longer next time.
