This is a small charming hotel right in the heart of the village of
Bussetto and right next to the Verdi Theater and all the shops in the
village. Our favorite restaurant was named something like Pasticheria De
La Portal. The rooms are small but functional. We liked the selection in
the continental breakfast which cost 8 Euros extra, but you'd pay

more than that if you went to a restaurant. That's for sure. Very
pretty tree filled front area.
As far as Bussetto goes this hotel appears to be the -
Well sited hotel in central Busseto, quiet during the evening. We've stayed here before and had a room on the 2nd floor last time, this time we had requested 1st floor (there's no lift) and the 1st floor rooms are cooler in warm weather. Pics of Verdi and productions of his operas on the walls but as the hotel is owned by Carlo Bergonzi it would be nice to see some photos of him in his famous roles as well!
