  We really enjoyed our stay at Silvio's from the friendly welcome through to the courtesy shuttle back to the ferry departure. While the property is about 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre and the latter stages are uphill, we enjoyed the location because of the other countryside and lakeside walks that are readily available.   We enjoyed our trip and stay at Hotel Belvedere. The staff were amazing. Especially the staff in the dinning room. I have to have special food and was told to tell them what I wanted to eat and they would fix it for me. Now that is service!!!!! Our room had a large balcony.   Very neat and clean apartment with great views of the lake and lovely, expansive grounds. Has all facilities for self-catering and 2 supermarkets within easy walking distance.   The apartment was just lovely.....open plan sitting/living/sleeping as it was so large we could spread out our mess! The owner, Ornella, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. When we arrived, Fred gave us a quick tour of the area, showing us where the supermarket and other facilities were. Ornella also did some washing for us, saving a trip to the laundromat. The apartment had a great view of village and surrounding hills and the sundeck on the roof had awesome views of the lake.   Great staff. Great restaurant downstairs well priced to boot. These are apartments with kitchenettes. The room (no 6) has views from the room over lake Como. Just wonderful. It felt like our home and we were reluctant to leave Antico Pozzo and Bellagio.
