We were the only people by the hot tub in the grounds most of the time so felt like a private garden (but with to-the-sun-lounger bar service) lovely staff, very close to the great restaurants in the old town - 5 mins walk along the pretty sea front. There is parking as well that isn't made obvious when booking. - Villa Mosca is a beautiful hotel with very comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed in the Comfort room in the attic as this was the only room available and it was perfect for us. The decor is simplistic and luxurious and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best point is it is in a great location right by the sea and walking distance to the town and restaurants and bars.

  The location, just inside the city walls and with a look to the harbour from the breakfest terrace is exellent. There is no nolise from the piazza below and the aircon is effective and quiet. Parking can be tricky, but at the right time of day you can park freely right on the front of the building. I wa - The room was very large and comfortable. The facilities were superb. The fridge was fully laden with water cheese ham yogurts milk cold drinks, and the cupboard was stacked with bread croissants cutlery tea coffee. More than enough. We had a fine balcony and although it overlooked the street, it was nice to be able to sit out and enjoy a tea time drink. It is centrally located only 2 minutes walk from the front and the old town. Couldn't fault it.

They kept our bags for the day as we had a night flight, and were even kind enough to let us shower after we returned from the beach. Overall great stay.

  The owners emailes me 1 week before my stay, giving me information about how to get there, asking what type of bed I want, etc. They even offered to come and pick me up by car from the port area. When I got there, they gave me a lot of flyers, maps, a list of places to eat and to go out. But close to the hotel is - We stayed for only 2 nights but I would choose this place again. In spite of proximity to the beach and old city center you dont feel like living on Khao San. You are staying in Italy among Italians but still close to POI. Room is quite big, clean and street not noisy. Even though they don't have 24 hour service no problem with late and delayed arrival like ours at 2 am. WiFi working well.

The owner awaited us in front of the house when we arrived, explained - Everything was just perfect! The hotel was very easy to reach from the airport (bus stop was just a few metres from the hotel). At first it didn't seem like much from the outside, just an ordinary block of flats with one flat converted for guests, but everything changed once we got inside.
