  The location, while a bit off the beaten path, once there it is fantastic. The grounds are beautiful, well kept and all the food prepared is grown on their property. That includes the olive oil, olives, wine, eggs (from their chickens), vegetables.   We were afraid that the Trulli resort and Alberobello might be be overwhelmed by tourists and souvenir shops. There were both, but it was still a delightful and interesting place to visit. And to actually stay in a real trullo was a unique experience. It seemed to be recently r - We were lucky to have a very well situated Trulli on a quiet side street just along from the bar and offices. The facilities and ambience of the Trulli exceeded our expectations. In May the whole area round the Trulli was perfumed by Jasmine! The staff were helpful when needed - which included helping us as we arrived. We should have taken a decent map of the town.   It is a beautiful hotel, in the center of Alberobello. It has a large parking. - The best breakfast we had in Italy over a period of 3 weeks (7 hotels /BandBs).
