  We spent two weeks in Israel and stayed at some wonderful places, but Desert Home was the most beautiful and luxurious. It felt like a spa. Reliable and clean, they are superior to other accomodations in the same price category.   The location is fantastic, we bought an upgrade to a very private house with its own pool and unobstructed view of the crater. The living, sitting and bathrooms were all large and well furnished and decorated.   The lodge is near the Maktesh and so there is an amazing view! A great location to look at the sunrise. It is also a nice place to just sit and watch te view.   The garden, the tent and the house has a wonderful atmosphere. There you feel calm and at home. Mati and Roni has a beautiful family and they made us feel like a part of it during our stay. We ate dinner that Roni cooked for us (so TASTY!) and slept a good nights sleep in the tent.

  Amazing place in an amazing location. Not a good place to stay for those who are not happy without all of the comforts of home, but perfect for anyone who likes camping and rustic conditions. For us, it was a magical place and I would love to return.
