Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Check in was not till three but when i arrived at half twelve to see if i could park in the grounds while till then, the owner organised for our room to be available within the next half an hour! I have stayed in numerous locations in lehinch this was ny far the cleanist,friendly and relaxed place i have stayed. The B&B was very close to the town centre. Just what you expect from a B&B to be: confy bed at night and cosy breakfast in the morning. The owner was really nice and helpful giving directions and planning your journey. Breakfast had several choices and it was good.

Good value - fab breakfast, Staff very helpful. Great place for walkers and surfers -. It was very friendly and welcoming place, we will definitely come back. Room was very big, staff very welcoming and breakfast tasty! Good price! And few minutes to the beach and restaurants. Staff were nice & friendly. Breakfast - good menu choices (pity tht Full Irish came with only 1 rasher but evrything else was perfect). Short walk to restaurants & pier. We were very impressed with the hospitality given to us. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was great and all facilities were excellent. Very comfortable rooms and a lovely lounge at the disposal of the guests. Perfect location for beach, golf or surrounding countryside. Clean, comfortable and in a great location. The Main Street is merely a few minutes walk away. Excellent service with good size rooms. Had a great time very friendly staff, had breakfast ready at 7.30 one morning. five mins walk from the golf course. Very comfortable. good breakfast. Very quiet. lots of parking. easy walk to town and beach. The place is gorgeous on the outside and very home like feeling on the inside. Room was lovely. Proximity to the golf course. Food excellent. Will defiantly be back. Nothing. Maybe a bit too expensive for what it is, an average B&B. A bit expensive considering its' location. nothing in particular. The tv... picture was not great on it. The room was advertised as having a king size bed but the bed wasn't king size. The were however two beds in the room, both doubles. We were in room 1 , and there were no net curtains or blinds, therefore unless you had the curtains closed you could see in the window . It was a bit chilly in the evening and we had to ask for the heating to be put on. Obliged. Booked Deluxe room but unclear from the website whether this had an extra bed or not. Emailed them to ask but never received a reply. WHen we arrived we were invited to pick a room but in the end this was a standard room not the deluxe we had booked. No remote for the TV, only 4 channels. price. The view from our window in room 7 was of the back of the house carpark on the ground floor. Therefore there was no privacy unless the curtains are closed and there was no light blind to obscure view but still let light in. Nothing!. Other guests were a little noisy but overall we had a very enjoyable stay. Nothing. price to high ,furniture ,tv and carpets was old. nothing special about the interior of the place. Grubby shower cubicle, base could have been cleaned better and there was grime around the base of the cubicle frame (Detox Mould/Mildew Remover is very good). We would normally point this out to the management, but as were there for only 3 nights, we let it go. With hindsight, maybe this was unwise. No warmth ,very business like,shower doors were falling apart ,carpet was sticky under your feet. Walls were very thin. Nothing !. I booked on line via letsbookhotel.com. Everything was confirmed booked. We arrived in lahinch to discover the lodge closed. A notice on the door said contact sister hotel in the town. That hotel was a 2 star hotel and was a bit of a kip. After booking what we taught was a beautiful lodge from the photos we were left very disappointed and further more no one from lahinch lodge contacted us to either let us know they had closed or to even apologise for running our weekend away.
