Warm welcome Very clean, quiet (last floor, back of the house), comfortable. Good continental breakfast with extra cheese, ham and tomatoes. Wifi available Car park space in front of the house. Owner extremely helpful and very nice when I needed to park the car an extra day at the B&B. It helped me to relax knowing my car was in a secure place. I appreciated this exception made. Thanks to all these above mentionned, we had a pleasant stay in Galway.
所有评语 » The host was really lovely and helpful in advising us where to go and what to do. Galway town is a short walk of about 5 mins. Really pretty town with loads of traditional pubs, great shopping and street music. Our room was really clean and tidy. Very secure and parking was on site. We drove from Dublin and signage to B&B was really easy to navigate. We loved the owner who made us a great continental breakfast and talked to us about travel and everything Ireland. She was a delightful person that we learned so much from and would return just because she was so delightful. Good rooms in a nice location not far from town. Just a short walk to city center. Both Fran and Jon were such lovely people, so friendly and very helpful when we asked for directions and advice! They were obliging when we made a last minute booking and really treated us very well! You should def stay here! I would go back in a heart beat! :). We loved Frances the owner of the B&B! She was thoroughly delightful and helpful and knowledgeable. She also accommodated our vegan diet by providing soy milk and extra fruit. The room was in a quiet but accessible location to the city center. Francis was a lovely welcoming hostess, she let us store stuff when we headed out to Inishmore for a few days. Great stories and local knowledge, a home away from home. The location was very handy to the bus and train station. The hostess Mary was very friendly and considerate. Among other things, she offered advice on restaurants, gave us a room overlooking a garden free from traffic noise, then drove us to the train station on departure. The location is good, just a short walk to the bus station to take a trip to Connemara or the cliffs of Moher. The city centre is just a few more steps away. The lady running the place was really nice and friendly. The hospitality is amazing and it made us feel right at home! Perfect location, clean, good price/quality. Free parking which is good if you have a rental and are on a roadtrip. Perfect !. Everything was nice. The hostess was very cheery and helpful with my questions on the area. If/when I go back to Galway I will stay here again (if possible). A lovely athmosphere, very friendly staff and comfortable room with a balcony. We would certainly stay there again when next in the lovely city of Galway. it close to city center( 10 min walking) , rooms are very clean and beds very comfortable. The owner is a very nice and friendly lady. Great twin room on the top floor, nice, decent-sized and clean. Breakfast was amazing, with fresh food prepared by the hostess. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, so close to city centre but still felt rural and relaxing with stunning views. Nothing. I would recommend you take all your own toiletries - soaps, shampoos etc. Nothing really... I would have liked a cooked breakfast.... but the continental was very nice too!. The wifi did not reach the top floor so we had to use the living area to access the internet. Also, we were told only on the eve of our departure that payment was cash only. We had to run out at night and find an atm. Just to note that there is no wifi in the rooms but we were very welcome to use the front room to do our emails etc. Our highly satisfactory room was on the upper floor which meant hauling heavy suitcases up the fairly steep narrow stairs. the breakfast is not so rich. No cards accepted for payment. Although the B&B is really nice I feel the price was a bit too high. Would have liked a full Irish fry up for breakfast but there was plenty of other choices and fresh homemade scones. We all liked it. I was looking forward to view over ocean and a balcony and the room did not have this. Sound travels between rooms so that you can clearly hear conversations. Nothing. kitchen not in the room(declared in description). there is only one kitchen for stuff, but its possible to use some kitchen facilities. The bathroom could be cleaner. Wasn't sure if the water would get hot. It did. I hadn't waited long enough. Nothing. The breakfast didn't have a lot of options. Hair dryer didn't work and it was wet and cool outside and would have liked dry hair when I went out. Even though there was double glazing, I could still hear the traffic which is a main thoroughfare to the city centre. No breakfast, but we were notified and all is good as good location.Location - very good but single person could possibly feel uncomfortable about walking part of the route back in late evening. Breakfast was fine but basic; only one cereal, 2 fruit juices, only white toast; but 'full fry'. At nearly 80Euro per night, I felt perhaps it was a little pricey. The walls between rooms are thin, and you're likely to be woken up by squeaking doors. on booking it stated breakfast included which it was however would have been nice to have to have known it was only continental.. Although we were told that we could pay with credit card, we were asked to pay in cash. No shampoo.the shower was cold. had to leave it run for ages before it heated up. Not as we expected. Was more like a "boarding house" accomodation, with difficult parking, very steep stairs and small rooms and baths. Proprietor seemed to be trying, but was not exactly friendly or personable. We encountered much better accomodations for the same price. No hot water at nite for a shower.
