I love you! I loved pretty much everything about Gogartys. The welcome package, the people I met, the location. The kitchen served as a awesome place to chill with other hostel travellers. There was such a vibe in the city, you guys really know what you are doing. The live music, the fantastic pub. I would come back to Gogartys in a heartbeat. Feeling sad to have left it. I adored the large South African flag on the exterior.
所有评语 » stayed here for 2 nights with my grown up children last week, very impressed with cleanliness and location and we were even allowed to check in 5 hours early! Also had free coffee on the go all day! excellent value for money too, would definatly return- oh and the adjoining bar is excellent too :-). Staff were brilliant, particularly the man who checked us in and the lady who was on after him. Great clean hostel which is extremely close to all the main shopping streets and bus routes. Breakfast provided for visitors and a kitchen for you to store your own food. EXCELLENT!!. It was perfect for me, and I am 57 years old. The down to earth atmosphere, the festivities at the door,the security, the low price. It was perfect and I except a hostile for what a hostile is. It is not the price or the same comfort as a hotel, its better!. All of it ,old fashioned hostel , was realy like mentioned on the site from Booking com , good staff , great food and live music.good service for budget value Fantastic location in the hart of Temple bar. we will go back to the sme place!!!!!!!. Great location, very clean room bathroom and beds, staff always so helpful, I always stay here when going to Dublin. Yes the rooms are small but for the price it doesn't matter as we are usually only there to sleep for a few hours!. The Staff Couldn't Do Enough For Us!! The main areas and the rooms were clean enough .. The pub adjoins the hostel and the atmosphere is excellent. Location wise if your heading to Dublin for the Craic .. Your in the right place. very convenient place to get to the castle, museum, Cathedral and ect. only by walking you can view all the famous places in Dublin. and the breakfast is really nice and got one coupon for one cup of free Guinness. Location was great and it was very easy starting point to get to places in town. the staff was quite helpful and pleasant. Very basic accommodations, but clean!. It was very clean and on a good strip that other attractions could easily be seen. Location, comfortable beds, nice staff member who lent us her umbrella. Friendly staff Central location (thus: noisy) Clean. Great localization, in the heart of Dublin. Location is great, but a bit noisy. The staff were very nice, and I enjoyed the decor of the public spaces. This place is right in the center of everything, so whether you want to have a pint at Temple Bar, check out Trinity College or whatever, you are well placed for everything. Location was good. Only one key was available for the 10 people in the hostel. Little ventilation in the rooms. very small room with little space due to 2 bunk beds, with 4 grown ups was a little difficult to get ready on a morning, this is a minor gripe-what can you expect for the money :). The only thing I would say is that sometimes not being able to control who you are in a room with can be a downfall. My sister and I were put in a 10-bed dorm with an old man who had wet himself during the night which was very unpleasant. Other than that, there's nothing more I didn't like. It was really warm in our room, there was no AC .. And we couldn't leave the window too wide open .. Incase the pigeons decided to join us!!. too noisy. The room window faces to the pub and I cant fall asleep until 2am. A little loud outside on the street and made it difficult to sleep at times, but can't really complain about that because that's what you get with a great location like this. Nothing everything was spot on :). From my experience nothing negative worth mentioning. If you want central, good value accommodation then I recommend this place!!. Can't find fault. The breakfast needs some work. Cheese, bread and cereal only. Fruit depended on the day--some days none at all. blinds would not close and lucky there was 2 of us in 4 man room. Only 1 pillow... But I coped. Nothing. We liked everything. The bathroom was very cold when you took a shower. Nothing I can think of. bunk beds. the breakfast room staff not to friendly and the drinking classes were dirty. the bubs charged 6.80 in euros for a pint of beer ,very expensive,. Can't think of anything. Check-out time The lift was dodgy Pretty loud. All good. noisy outside til 2.30am and again from 7am. DO NOT get the 4-bed en suite room 19!. Loud, but we were so tired, it did not matter. noisy,and room very small. Over a bar, smelled of urine, too noisy, no air conditioning, and no parking. Rather difficult to find as well. Breakfast, €2 for towels, overpriced Temple Bar. Promises that aren't fulfilled: you get a voucher for a free drink in their pub; it has to be a glass - not a pint - and it has to be before 6PM. Then the staff brings you a pint, says he didn't understand, moreover they're not prepared to accept extra money to compensate for the difference between pint and glass and in the end you pay for everything and you got nothing for free. Bright strategy, isn't it?. very small room. rental towells. Room was extremely small. There were leftover liquor bottles and beer cans from previous occupants in one of the cabinets, chewing gum stuck to the underside of the beds, etc. It looks as though only the beds get made after someone leaves as nothing else was clean. Also, the noise level outside is very high until 4am, when people drunkenly stumble inside, bringing more noise with them. It was filthy. There was vomit on our window sill and in our sink from previous occupants. Two of our party picked up a vomiting bug. We even saw a member of the kitchen staff drop knives on the floor and pick them up and put them back in the tray without cleaning them Our shower fused every day so someone would be left covered in soap whilst we asked reception (continuously) to fix it.
