The Metropole hotel didnt look that much approaching from a distance but did we get a shock when we checked in and saw our rooms,the pool,and the breakfast was amazing. Fantastic hotel. I got a fabulous room at the Metropole Gresham, a beautiful bright big room with an exceptional bathroom. I would definately stay there again and would recommend it to my friends.staff were very friendly and would say hello to you if you met them any where in the hotel.room service was quick.reception staff were very polite and quick checking us in.

Would definately stay there again next time.The accomodation was of the highest standard. The food and service again was excellent. I would definately stay at this hotel again on my next visit to the area. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Lovely relaxed stay, Hotel room was lovely. It was just a pity we could only stay one night.The 2 nights Bandb + dinner package exactly suited our needs. The free parking arrangements were a pleasant surprise. staff extremely friendly and helpful, hotel rooms comfortable and adequatelly equipped, location to shopping perfect. Excellent location. Lovely view of the river Lee. I made a request about the room which the hotel fulfilled. Close to centre of city and close to bus stop. Lovely swimming pool.Food was excellent and prices were good. The refurbished rooms. My electrics went off in the morning, so they letme use another room to shower in. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean and comfortable.Location was very central.Friendly helpful staff. Food excellent. Relaxed atmosphere, great for a weekend break. Car Park very close walk, 1-2 minutes only, locked at night for safety. Free wireless internet very fast!. the hotel was excellent only fault i could find was window in bathroom was not working but was due to be replaced very nice view in the city centre free parking will definatly be staying again. Hotel staff were most helpful and considerate when our plans were changed due to flights and weather. Friendly staff in a clean environment. Good sized room and very comfortable bed. Great breakfast!. everything. especially the breakfast which was enough for all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!(nearly). friendly staff, good sized room with everything we need. breakfast was enjoyable. we were upgraded free of charge and without asking to a suite which was fabulous. Its is an excellent hoel very brillant facillities and excellent locations. it was in the perfect location. the staff was friendly and helpful. Leisure Centre and pool. Plus a rather swish shower in the room :). Courtesy staff that were willing to help you at any time. there was nothing i did not like about this hotel, but one small thing would be the room was a bit small other than that it was great value for money.only down side was that there was only 1 lift. which was small enough especially when u had 4 floors to collect on the wat down and the stairs did not have any floor marked on them. Slightly cool room (cold night out also) but extra blanket available.It has the slowest lift in the world!!. You would have to be very picky to have a complaint. Only a picky point as I liked the hotel very much but the views from the room were of a brick wall. no rte 1 or 2 for news. Price of meals in lobby eg E 4 for tea!!!. Breakfast Very Expensive. I think the hotel should include parking in the package cost as it portrays a mean image with charging extra. Also, there are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the rooms which is a big down point for the vast majority of people I'm sure. missed the dublin metropole's bathrobes and slippers but otherwise it was great and better price than Dublin. it was great , no problems at all. No make-up mirror in bathroom.
