  My wife and I took 5 days vacation in Ubud. We stayed 2 nights here in The Purist. The overall environment and the room is amazing! Quiet, peacful, and clean. The Villia just so fit into natural. Staffs are very nice, friendly, and with smile all the time. And they won't "bother" you too much if you are looking for a peaceful stay. We are pr - The service was outstanding. Nothing was too difficult for the staff, and they were particularly helpful with preparing food for our 8 month old baby. Food is excellent and freshly sourced, but we were also provided details for take away pizza when we expressed a desire for different food. Finally, when we requested a late check out, we were permitted to move to a different villa until 3pm at no extra charge, this was extremely helpful given that we were travelling with a baby.

  Komaneka at Bisma is located in an incredible setting overlooking rice paddies and the pool. The suites are large and have a great balcony. The staff are exceptional. They made us feel like family and we enjoyed them as much as the hotel! We had a one year old with us and they often watched him while we finished our meal. They also connected us with a driver /guid - Lovely setting, just a short distance from central Ubud. Beautiful rooms, with a large terrace complete with sun loungers from where you can enjoy the lovely views of palm trees and some paddy fields, and the infinity pool. Liked the touches like the bedtime reading stories which were placed bedside at the turn down service. The breakfast was a veritable feast every day with lots of choice. Make sure you sample the snacks at tea time, too. A delightful place to base yourself in Ubud.

A tour of the Green School and Green Village established by the resort owner, is recommended. - What a wonderful place! Elegant luxury in a very authentic way. The houses are antic originals imported from Java and are so incredibly charming. Of course being old they squeak a bit here and there but that adds to the charm. What I really liked was the porch and the space around the house. Very comfortable and with an amazing view into the valley. We had one extra bed for our kids and it was big enough for both of them (9/11 yo). This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

  Excellent location, just a short walk to centre of Ubud yet set in quiet garden. Beautiful temple across the street. Garden setting was lovely, spacious with lots of trees and flowers to enjoy. A kitchen and breakfast space outside, the pool, the room with a lot of space, the nice people always trying to help, the natural environment, a big bath tube, everything was really good. Not very far the centre of Ubud... you can walk and get there in about 15 minutes or less! we really felt home here... In the messy and touristic Bali, this place makes you feel what was the island when the tourists were just arriving!!!
