While we travel a lot, we can wholeheartedly say that staying at puri asri villa was probably the single best hotel experience that we have had. The hotel itself is nicely situated, around 15 minutes away from the centre of ubud by foot through the scenic monkey forest (or the side pedestrian road). The rooms are lovely and large, clean and modern with all the amenities you'd expect in a nice hotel. Where the hotel shines is the customer service. The staff will go beyond the line of duty to ser.
所有评语 » Great hotel! Awesome reception. We had one of the newest rooms, which was almost like an apartment. Huge clean room, divided in 2, many closets and a ballroom for bathroom, with a great shower and a bathtub. There are 2 different pools in the facility. The menu in the restaurant is not long, but what you get on your plate tastes awesome. The breakfast is also one of the best we had in Bali. The service is great and it's only a 5 minute walk to the monkey forest and therefore 15 minutes to the c. After moving from a more expensive / higher rated hotel to Puri Asri we were surprised to find it so much nicer than when we'd been previously. We stayed in one of the newer rooms overlooking the newer swimming pool. The room was huge and beautiful and so comfortable. The staff were amazing and couldn't have done any more to make our stay special - they went out of their way to drop us into the town or arrange a trip to the volcano or airport drop off. Nice people.They came to pick us up in the shuttle from Ubud every evening, even though it was low season and we were the only guests out. The room was pleasant with a little patio enclosed by tropical shrubbery. It was a 15 min walk through the Monkey Forest to M.F.Rd, but was quiet and had a country feel.Decent pool. Unit 10 down the back to us had the wow factor as the unit looks so new with 5 steps to the pool. The staff are amazing and we tried many restaurants but wait for it.... When we ate at the puri restaurant the fod was the BEST of all ubud. 10 min walk through the back of he monkey forest to ubud. Close proximity to restaurants with Balinese dancing at night, and the Monkey Forest and, therefore, isolation from busy and noisy village centre. Willingness of staff to drive us, and pick us up, from the village. Great pools and breakfast. Real balinese style Beautiful garden and pool Very friendly and helpful staff Free shuttle to Ubud (very handy) Close to monkey forest(3min walk), close to ubud (10min walk). Take flashlight in the evening. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived. Staff helped out with any questions we had. Room was the best one we had during our 1 month stay in indonesia. (Deluxe room) The pool was very clean. Staff very eager to help you in any situation. Very clean room with a big bathroom. Close to the monkey forest, within 3 min walk and 10 mn walk from the city center. We really liked the villa (having a villa in this price bracket was very good) and surprisingly the outside bathroom... The breakfast was also good... This is a fantastic hotel at the great price. Staff is extremely helpful, rooms very spacious and convienient, fantastic pool outside the villas. The pool, the vastness of the room, the staff who were very helpfull and the free shuttleservice into Ubud centre. Excellent service by the staff from start to finish. Amazing staff and hotel. near to the monkey forest, great spa. Peaceful. Friendly and helpful staffs. Nature. Perhaps the breakfast could be a little bit more varied. We didn't stay long enough. Older style room with poor plumbing. Bathroom floor always wet. Noisy animals in the garden at night Breakfast is good, but every day same choice(continental, american, indonesian) We booked a english driver/guide in the hotel because then we hoped we got a good one, but it was a terrible one. We had scooters to get to the centre, it's a bit far to walk but this is being compensated by free shuttle service. The walk into Ubud was a good 30 minutes and although the hotel provided a really handy free shuttle we like to be able to walk around a little easier... Nothing to complain about. The a/c did not work properly and the hotel is further from the citycentre than we expected. Outdoor shower in the villas is cold water only, good for hot days but not so nice if it's a cooler day. The bathroom does have hot and cold water though. the bed not comfortable, the breakfast is not good. AC a little bit noisy. the room was dirty, the bed has 50 years. A light outside the bedroom window that could not be switched off. Poor location, too far from town area requiring long walk through Monkey Forest. Free shuttle service only caters for certain hours; you need to pay for out-of-schedule shuttle service. Old furniture in room with uncomfortable old mattress. Swimming pool is much smaller than shown in internet picture. Spooky villa with few guests and dimmed lighting at night. Mosquitoes, uncomfortable beds, no electric plugs.
