I visited Lovina for the early morning sea journey to watch the dolphins at play and I wasn't disappointed. Villa Agung was a real find. The room had recently been refurbished, was very clean and the bed was sooo comfortable. I had pool/ocean views from my upstairs room and rice paddi to the rear. Sandy and Gus, the owners were welcoming and inclusive. They kindly allowed me to accompany them on a typical day's errands around the local village and Singara and gave me a fabulous guided tour. 所有评语 » The owners & staffs were friendly. Facilities were good as rooms were provided with coffee / tea making facilities ( something seldom you get at this price). Bed was provided with 6 pillows! Bathroom was clean & spotless. Last & not least, the breakfast was delicious, especially the Watermelon Boat (Pls try it)!. Owner acted as 'host', very congenial, accommodating and helpful; fantastic breezy alang-alang (grass roof) 2nd floor hideout overlooking the pretty boat laden bay and ocean - purrrfect retreat for relaxation. Well located right on the sea, good breakfast, good service, great hosts - would have loved to have stayed longer. Restaurant meals also excellent. Motor bike arranged for us for hire was also good value. Gus and his wife made us wonderfully welcome and his staff could not have been more helpful and polite. It was a relaxing, laid-back four days, quiet, beautiful, uncomplicated and thoroughly enjoyable. Beachfront location with balcony overlooking the pool and ocean nice for that morning cup of coffee or a happy hour drink. the people is nice . breakfast is soso. It is right on the beach but the beach is not great; snorkelling is very average here. Nice place to relax right in the beach. Nothing. Nothing i could think of. Would have liked shampoo supplied in room and new towels on 2nd day. And itemised bill, as everything was charged and found 4 x errors in total. Apart from this would highly recommend and be happy to stay again. leaving!. The place is a bit run down and reminds me of an old-fashioned motel. You can hear the people in the next room. To get into town, you have to take a bemo, which is a bit tedious, although they are frequent. Lovina itself was a great disappointment. Too many hawkers by far. There doesn't seem to be a reason to go there. Compared with Amed, which had great diving, it is not worth it. Pemuteran, an hour further on, is a much better choice. Besides the dolfins there's nothing to do in that place nor in Lovina.
