  This is a great guesthouse with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and large with comfy beds and a good bathroom. Hot water is good but takes a while to come through. Internet was fast and reliable, a first in India! And very trustworthy, which is priceless in this city where everyone has a hustle. I left my cell phone charger in the room after checking out and they gave it to me when I came back to pick up my bags. The restaurant is expensive, but worth the amazing view.They left the lights on for us and we were able to talk by the seaside all night with our tea. We have been all over India, and we highly recommend Jagat Niwas Palace.

  I had booked a lake-view room at double price and it was worth every rupie, waking up to the sun rising just across the lake is amazing. From the little alcove in the room you had a perfect view of the castle.
