  The reception had been really nice and helpful. He recommended a transitional Icelandic restaurant to me and helped me booking tours and offered tourism advices. I love the kitchen, it's cozy, clean and open for 24 hours. It is such a nice and warm hostel and it is highly recommended. - It was so clean, and you didn't check in, you got an email telling you how to get into the hostel / your room. I arrived at 2 am and went right in and went to sleep. It is nicely decorated and so many things to read to show you what to do. The owner called a bus for me to get me back to the airport and I saw her eating lunch with some guests - she is very nice. I felt very safe.

  We rented two Hansen apartments (lower and top levels) and found them to be excellent value. Both apartments were extremely clean and just as pictured. We especially liked the fact that the location was terrific. A very short walk to downtown area and famous church. There was also cereal available (3 kinds in each apartment) and orange juice in the fridge plus - The apartment is really big, which is about 62 sq m. It is so clean and comfortable. The best part is the kitchen, you can find everything there, even for oil, salt, tea bags etc...The host is very nice, he showed us where to go, the supermarkets, shops on a map and welcomed us with orange juice! There is a phone which is connected to the host's cell phone. So, you won't have to worry and there is always someone for you to ask for help during the stay.   Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. A big thank you to Jose, Marcus and Lisa for making my stay so special. No extra charges if you need to have your clothes washed and free coffee.   I think it is not easy to find such a good hotel in the center of Reykjavik. The hotel is just beside the church, very convenient, quiet and clean. Three rooms share a bathroom, I think it was not a problem especially not in peak season. They provide shampoos, towels, etc. The breakfast is excellent, including many choices.
