The owners of the guesthouse are very friendly, and kept the rooms very clean. There is always someone cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming the hallways. The kitchen is also good, as is the dining room. The bathrooms are kept clean and well-stocked. Each room is equipped with a sink, drain stopper, and soap. There is also a free computer station with internet available. There is free wi-fi in each of the rooms, and the signal is pretty good. Some rooms also have additional furniture depending on.
所有评语 » Everything! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Ingi and his brother, who proved to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable hosts. We originally booked a double bedroom, but were upgraded To a larger room as we were staying for close to 8 days. They even lent me a hair dryer and straightner when mine blew out. The guesthouse was kept immaculately clean at all times and we never heard noise from nearby rooms. The guesthouse is only a fifteen minute walk from anything and we were even able . This place has been taken over recently by a couple of brothers and they were in the middle of upgrading all the facilities when I was there - so it wasn't pristine, there were the odd wires hanging out and bits of painting still to do etc, but what they had done already was making it into a really nicely appointed modern place. the rooms were good, well fitted out, I stayed here twice in different rooms and both were clean, comfy, with a desk and a sink and mirror. The wifi worked well. There . I have stayed twice in Igdlo guesthouse. It has an excellent location in Reykijavik, very friendly and helpful staff, is clean and pleasant. The atmosphere is nice, cameral. You can rest well as you feel safe there. Free tea and coffee is available all time, you can use kitchen facilities and community room to rest. Wi-Fi of a good quality availablle in all rooms is free of charge. Lots of tourist information brochures, maps, books, magazines - free of charge. Definitly a place to be strongly r. Perfect if you don't want to stay in a party type hostel, I found it nice and quiet which was ideal as I was doing a lot of long day tours. Walkable distance from the bus station & centre. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Free coffee, tea and wifi. I stayed in the small single room with shared bathroom which was extremely good value for money. If you want to travel by car in Iceland but come back to night in Reykjavik this hotel has a best location and a lot of parking places near by. On the other hand Reykjavik is not really big city and it's only 5-7 minutes from hotel to centre by foot. Igdlo Guesthouse has very helpful stuff who know their country very well and they're able to give some tips. The staff was helpful, and easily accessible. They were able to help us with recommendations for dinner and getting to the airport the next morning. They had a full kitchen upstairs that they always had tea and coffee available. They also allowed us to use a couple of bowls and utensils. The location was excellent, and very close to the bus station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Fredrik gave me suggestions of want to see and where to eat since I had such a short stay. It was a convenient 7 minute walk to the center of old town Raykjevik. It was clean and comfortable. They offered a traditional Scandinavian breakfast for an additional charge but it was very reasonable price. I enjoyed the good service, hospitality and support from the Igdlo staffs. The staffs were knowledgeable about Iceland and were willing to share what they considered to be the most attractive and interesting places to visit and features to see while in Iceland. I liked this very much, keep it up my Idglo staffs!!!. The staff were very nice and friendly, helping us to sort out trips and car rentals. The kitchen facilities were great and it's very handy for the BSI bus station. Room was clean and comfortable and there is a PC for free use and wifi. I would definitely stay there again. This hotel was a great deal and only about 10-15 minutes walking into the heart of the city. They gave us a great deal on a rental car and helped us out with all info and accomodated us with a room earlier than we anticipated. Great stay and definitely a great deal!. The guesthouse is very nice :) Friendly owners, clean rooms, free tea and coffee, fully-equipped kitchen and big common room! And it's close to the center and central bus station! The place is especially great if you have limited budget and want to cook yourself. The owners are really freindly and helpful. The guesthouse is a short walk to both the city and the main bus station for day trips. The kitchen means you can save on meals if your on a budget. Also very clean and confortable. Fully equipped kitchen with all things you need for cooking, walking distance to BSI bus stop (flybus), domestic airport, supermarket and city center. Friendly staff and nice and clean rooms. The staff are very helpful in asking our question even if it was very late at night. They helped us to call taxi very early in the morning. The price are worth for staying in such a cozy room. As expected, the house was basic but clean, comfortable, and warm (it was early winter). It took me about 15-20 minutes to walk downtown -- doable, even in the snow. A good value. Our room also had a tv, but it did not work. But these are very minor issues, and did not detract from our experience. Not so much what I didn't like - as the slight drawbacks - I had stayed more centrally earlier in the trip, it was a little bit out of town - I wouldn't say central. And the neighbourhood didn't feel to me quite so safe. They seem to be targetting the backpacker/trekker community as those were mostly the people I saw there - so I wouldn't describe it as a family location. But those are small points!. The room was very small and cramped with lots of furniture, didn't really have room for the small desk/chair that was in there. None!. I liked it all. The rooms are a little small but given the price its fine. My room was next to dining room and some were talking and laughing too loud in night although it was not allowed to use kitchen after midnight. The bathroom was not very clean when we arrived but it is okay. Some fixtures and fittings not quite finished on top floor. TV not working in room. The house itself could use a little extra maintenance work (some small things in the bathroom and bedrooms but nothing spectacular). Nothing. None. Shower facility was a floor below. TV not hooked up. I have got an attic room as a single travellers. It was so small that I could hardly stand up! It was definately not worth of 50 euro / night, but it was okay for a few night. Shared toilets / bathroom. A bit too close to highway for comfort, noise-wise. mostly for young peoply thus very noisy. Personal preference I suppose but the bed was too soft, but other than that nothing. There was a TV installed and some other installation work going on as well and the TV was not available for us to use. But this was not promised us in the description so this is not really a case to complain about. A bit too crowded. Not enough space. Small rooms, hard to get in contact with the guesthouse by phone. Can't turn of the heating. The bathrooms were very dirty!. Nothing.
