  The check in process was smooth, a very friendly woman at the front desk. We stayed in a studio apartment with a private hot tub, and it was great. The room is extremely modern, there is a pullman style bed, however we didn't use it. There is a the appliances are all hid behind nice cabinetry. I believe even the floors were heated ( - We enjoyed the apartment and found the staff to be incredibly helpful. The kitchen saved us a lot of money on food, though it should be noted there's no oven here. The hot tub was nice to have but not particularly interesting (no jets or anything like that). We did a northern lights tour with Saga that was particularly good. We also found this location easy to use as a base of operations for our adventures in the North of Iceland.

  It´s a really nice house with a spacious room and comfortable beds and nice garden. We felt like at home. Well equipped kitchen and free coffee and tea was quite a detail! Everything was clean. We arrived a bit later and gave them a call. No problem for them. - The natural geothermal hot tub was cool. We got a room with a private bathroom- that was nice so we didn't have to share with other guests. There is a little grocery store across the street so you can buy food and put it in the shared fridge in the shared kitchen. Facilities were clean, great budget friendly location. Fairly close to downtown

The hosts were very helpful with suggestions and information on the area and tours. We got a bit lost trying to locate the place, the host personally came to direct us to the apartment. The owner who turned up to meet us there when we arrived was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in an apartment on Munkathverárstræti 33 which was set back from the water on a quiet street which was perfect for our one night stop off.
