  What was there not to like ? We were greeted, cared and catered for in a first class manner, by the professional and friendly staff at the Hotel. The food, which we had read so much about was superb - I have never eaten such delicious duck, ever. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered cooked eggs and bacon, as well as a buffet. I would think in the summer months it w - we visited the place in the winter season and we were the only guests. In summer the city is packed with young party goers. few rooms upstairs, downstairs is a good restaurant and bar with Buddhist charming decoration. bed comfortable, shower is good, room has lake view and large balcony. breakfast was as per our orders and included in the price. free parking. good WIFI.

  Proximity to train station, indoor pool/spa/sauna etc. We had a superior double room which was very spacious and light. We had a very early departure and were given a bread, toppings (altho they omitted to provide a plastic knife!), fresh fruit bag to sustain us on the train back to Budapest. We went early Sept which might be a little quiet for some travelers. Buffet style breakfast/evening meals, plenty of choice, good selection of Hungarian food.

When we arrived we were a bit unsure of how to check in and were about to phone and ask when a lady appeared who had been waiting for us to arrive.
