  We have been with 2 dogs - labradors, the staff really loved the dogs and they have left in the bathroom an extra towel for them (I guess) that really impressed me, although we had ours and didnt need it.   It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time.   A pleasant surprise in an off-the-beaten-track area with numerous things to like. Friendly and helpful staff. Bike rental available and a good bike path runs along the Danube.
