Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

The location is ideal - on the water with a private beach (no one used it while I was using it) and still had a pool. The room was great - overlooking the pool and out towards the sea. The place is very quiet and relax - This place is just wonderful! This was the second time that we stayed in the guesthouse and we liked it even better than the first time. Extremely friendly and genuinly welcoming staff. Wonderful surroundings and perfect location for visiting Mystras and Sparta.
