  Fantastic place. We were met at the port by Anthony and taken back after our 2 days. Beautiful room and kitchen area with stunning seaview. We were greeted by Anthony's wife and daughters and given small welcome gift. Clean rooms and bedding, towels etc. Well worth the extra to have breakfast.   Parvatos Studios is a really great place and we had a wonderful stay here. We've never had such great hosts before - very warm, hospitable and helpful. Really nice people. They took us from and back to the port, they arranged for us to rent an ATV at very reasonable price and Mary's cake was very delicious. Very nice and friendly owners (we were surprised to receive a cake and a watermelon during our short stay). Nice and new building, quiet neighbourhood, large balcony. Very nice pool and close to the beach (2 min walk). Overall great experience. Definately recommend this place.

  This is the first time I am writing a review but Nikos and Vagelitsa were so welcoming and accommodating that I felt a need to share my wonderful experience. Excellent homely food, peace and tranquility, picturesque location were factors that made this trip memorable. I will be soon returning to Scala!

  Our ferry was came in late at night and the Arhontou staff was happy to meet us after reception closed. We chose Sifnos because it is less touristy than many and we chose the Arhontou because we wanted to stay away from the water (for a change) in a quieter Greek town (Apollonia) and Arhontou was just a short walk down to the charming village. We went to Lazarou Beach (more of a cove - no sand) and had some of the bes - Overall good location althought I can be a bit of a trek into town. Pleasant to see the farms below the hotel. The rooms, pool, bar, restaurant and Amaria were all fantastic! The perfect location for a relaxing vacation.   Best hosts we have ever had at any place we have been before on holidays. We booked a budget friendly accommodation and received much more than can be expected for the price. Mikalis and Anna - the managers of "Ambeli Apartments" were amazing. We received an outstanding service from the first minute on. They gave us the feeling as we would make part of - Michalis and Anna were absolutely amazing and made my time at Ambeli a true delight. The lovely apartment was facing the pool with double doors opening to views of the hills from the bedroom at the back - beautiful! It was a few minutes walk from the end of the beach strip so was lovely and quiet while still being so close to the beach and some lovely bars and restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone else thinking of it.
