Note: this hotel is in the main port town, not in the nearby tourist resort of Livadi (that's a good point). Situated directly on the seafront of the island's main port, it is excellent if you want to be right next to the cafe's and restaurants, the small central beach and Astypalea life. Small balcony, but large enough room, well equipped and clean. Typical city hotel in terms of personality and friendliness, but well situated, and would visit again. With a young kid in bed early, it was a gre.

We appreciated the transports from the port when we arrived and to the airport when we had to go. thx for that. Bathroom is in perfect condition. Room also very nice and quiet. Beautifull view to the castle and the harbor. We really liked Astypalaia alot. Although you have to understand that this is not Cycladic mentality but more Dodecanese. But the stay in this hotel was perfect. 9/10.
An excellent small hotel set above the harbour in Pera Gialos, below the Hora and castle of Astypalaia, the seaview rooms looking across the bay to the offshore islands. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, including being met at the airport. Very good breakfast on the terrace.
Great location in front of the port of Pera Gialos and Beach. Friendly staff! Wifi in the room. Clean beautiful rooms with a nice view. Nice budget hotel. Transport to and from the port.
The location right on the harbor was beautiful and very convenient. The staff picked me up and the ferry and dropped me off there as well.
Wonderful family run hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone staying on Astepaylea. We will be back.

The mattress like most mattresses in Greece was, for me, too hard and somewhat uncomfortable. I slept, but woke a bit sore.
Nothing....great value for money.
Could be a bit noisy if you stay in a room over the restaurant.
