The hotel is in a magnificent location within 5 minutes walk of the lovely sandy beach and many interesting shops and tavernas of Gouvia Beach and 15 minutes walk from the huge Marina of Gouvia. The hotel itself exceeded all expectations and we would recommend it to anyone for a relaxing sunshine holiday. It has recently been renovated to the highest standards, one of the owners being an architect, and the rooms and communal areas are modern, cool, spacious, airy and extremely comfortable. The .
所有评语 » We booked the hotel based on the superb rating here on letsbookhotel.com, and were not disappointed. The hotel was very modern, clean, and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful when we had questions or needed something. We were very impressed by the facilities provided on our last day when we had to check out before noon, but our flight wasn't till late in the evening: the hotel has a shower room, several very clean toilets, room to change, and room to kee. My wife andI had an opportunity recently for a short break for ourselves and it was so so good. The hotel was charming in so many ways, tastefully decorated and set up. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and delightful. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, mainly for business, so I can spot easily, those things that make your stay better. It was very convenient for beach and dinner trips. Above all though, it was a combination of the very charming setting, the cleanliness, the charming and. Hotel DeBono is one of the best choices to stay while visiting Corfu, combining convenient location, excellent design and great service. The building is very nicely decorated, the room is spacious and clean, the surrounding facilities (pool, terrace, playground) are well-designed and nicely located within the large hotel garden. The crew was very welcoming and attentive. The rooms were clean and pooltowels and water heater were available. The hotel is situated in a quiet area. There was a large breakfast buffet. To reach the hotel from the airport, you need to take the way to the center of Corfu (Kerkyra), drive along the coastline and through the triumphal arch of St Michael's Palace. Then, take a right turn to Paleokastriza and at the sixth traffic light, turn left. (you can see a warehouse on the corner). Everything about this hotel was wonderful, the room, the pool, the helpful staff. I was holidaying with my two adult daughters and this hotel was just what we needed, quiet, relaxed, clean and modern. We hired a car which gave us easy access to Corfu town and the rest of the island. The hotel is just a short walk from the resort of Gouvia, where there is a nice beach and a good selection of restaurants. If you like a bit of luxury this is the hotel for you. The hotel is well located in a quiet area with lots of greenery outside the bustling tourist center of Gouvia. Fifteen minute walk takes you to the the nearby pebble beach and the many restaurants in Gouvia. The ambiance in the hotel is elegant and relaxing. The room was very comfortable, very clean, the sea view was wonderful just like was described. The stuff was exellent and the pool was fantastic. The food was very nice too. Everything was at high level. Now we are for some days in a five star hotel in Crotia (really very good) but the facilities of Debono were more comfortable. This hotel is unbelievable, you could not fault it. It boasts a brand new interior, and rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff are wonderful, so helpful and friendly. The only thing to mention (which is already mentioned in other reviews as well) is that the road from the hotel to Gouvia centre/beach has no footpath and is quite dark in the evening. Location needs a vehicle if you want to get to downtown Corfu (7km). We found the breakfast a bit limited. The cooked food tended to be dried out from being kept heated too long. Also, a car is necessary get about. There is a bus stop five minutes walk from the hotel but the buses are not that frequent, especially at the weekend. Everything was perfect!. All good. Highly recommended. Room 213 (junior suite) - balcony looked onto the roof of the kitchen. Short walk to town and supermarket on narrow road with no footpath , car hire helped get around this but buses available 15 mins walk from hotel. However hotel had so much to offer overall this would not deter us from booking hotel again. There is nothing wrong to mention. Only for the advantage of the hotel they should take some actions in order for people to be able to more easily search and identify the hotel in the internet as it is a very good choice and it does not come up the first 10 choices. The food was OK but not very high class. Sometimes the food in the buffet looked a little old and not very inviting. Nothing noy to like. Pool chairs not so many and struggled to find a free one. No real (from beans) coffee at breakfast. The view from our balcony is facing a roof, so there is nothing to see. Gouvia itself as a location, although the hotel is situated close to good transport links and we were able to visit other towns and beaches every day. The buffet food is good but lacks imagination.
