  The staff were extremely helpful and worked hard to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Everyone was made to feel welcome and there was a feeling that no matter what you asked for they would go out of their way to try and make sure you received your request. The simple and clean rooms withfantastic views. The staff were very helpful and friendly. - A very nice family hotel. Theo, Josephine and team were always willing to help and make life easy for us. Views are great and the hotel is well located. We would recommend this hotel and use it again.

  The Nefeli hotel is clean and was roomy for a two person stay. Very convenient location if you plan on using bus travel around Crete, 50m away. My friend left his cable at the hotel and we contacted them if it was there. They found the cable and mailed it to his address for free. The facilities were good enough that I decided to stay there again on my way back and spend a day exploring the city.

  Mike at the desk is a star. His English isn't brilliant but he will do anything to try and help, whether it be finding a phone adaptor, or guiding you to the best fish restaurants (and they're all pretty good around Danaos-very local). They let me check in early and because it was towards the end of the season they upgraded my room from a double to a quadrouple. You can book excursions around crete through the hotel. I booked a hike to Samaria Gorge, the old man at reception woke up and made me breakfast before the hike. It's also right on the town beach and 10 minute walk to the old part of Chania.

  As I could not find any comprehensive review on this hotel here is mine. Me and my wife (in our early 30ties) stayed in the hotel recently for 8 nights. The hotel is family run by two very friendly and welcoming brothers who sometimes joined by their father who is also very welcoming. All speak good English with elder brother Antonis being (in my ... 别人怎么说 » understanding) manager of the hotel and speaking better English than his brother and father. Location is very convenient. Although in the residential - Relaxing rooftop terrace as there was not a swimming pool due to central location. Close proximity (2 minutes walk) to local harbour and sandy beach, great location and better value meals & drinks to old town. However the old town is only 5 minutes walk and a charming place.
