The apartment had a full size cooker and fridge. It was spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, Greek youghurts, fresh orange juice, fresh bread rolls , bread, ham cheeses, eggs cakes and pastries etc, etc. All served on the rooftop with wonderful views across the harbour and city. It was a great location for sightseeing and shopping in Chania.
所有评语 » The location of Suites Pandora is unique, over looking the old Venetian Harbour of Chania. The view from the roof top is absolutely stunning. All staff was very friendly and helpfull and we can recommend this hotel to all lovers of small intimate hotels. Fantastic location, view of the port from the roof where we had breakfast, apartment style accommodation very roomy for family of four, helpful and courteous staff. Lovely courtyard where you could also sit and relax. Cannot recommend highly enough. New paint in the room, easy access to the room from the beautiful garden or across the hall, nice location near the harbour but not in the noise of the main street, quite large room, breakfast served on a fabulous terrace with view over the city. Everything from the hotel owner to the view is marvellous. The view on the rooftop is jaw-dropping especially your breakfast time and dinner time; the latter can be easily arranged by guests with all facilities provided by the hotel. We enjoyed our stay in the Pandora Suites very much- everything was perfect and Mr George is very friendly and helpful- we highly recommend this hotel with great location, view and wonderful rooms. The style, it is a small intimate establishment, the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and always helpful. The room was furnished in an individual style, with older style furniture. Intimate, quiet,beautifully decorated, very clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. So lovely and comfortable it was hard to leave our suite and go out to see the sites we came for. The rooftop terrace is great, as is the fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade Greek yogurt. Loved the views and convenient location. Location and authentic old world charm, views from the rooms and terraces. Our apartment was on the front of the building and there was some noise from the music in the restaurants and bars nearby (sometimes into the early morning hours) but the views and the amazing balcony more than compensated for this. very hard to find parking in Chania. Bathroom slightly small. Some hairs in the bathroom was not well accepted. The only window overlook the garden ...you 've to pull the awning. There is no lift at the hotel as its a two-storey building. Therefore, it might not be convenient for the senior citizen to ascend the stairs with heavy luggage. If there is somebody at the reception when you arrive then the suitcase will be carried by receptionist but if not, you have to carry it by yourself. No tissues provided and there was no television. The wifi had to be accessed in the foyer, due to the thickness of the walls. Bathroom a little funky. Toilet seemed to leak. In one of the rooms we had to shutter all the windows for safety - suffocating unless we used air conditioning, which wasn't otherwise necessary or desirable. Chania is a very lively town and there is noise all night long. If you have the windows open, you will hear it, but with windows closed and a/c on, it was fine. Manning arrangements at the front desk which left me locked out when i arrived in Chania on a major evening flight to find myslef locked out an unable to check in. we had a suite and the one bathroom was terribly small and still needs updating. Our 6 ft. 3 in. son didn't do well in the small tub/shower setting. Also, with 2 couples and a 3 yr. old, there wasn't enough room. the parking for our rental cars was a major issue. The rooms were all rather small and parking was a problem, although the staff were very helpful with this. Breakfast okay, but basic. Noise at night from the bars below. Not a hotel, so nobody around, creating a deserted feeling. The bathroom was very small. Hard to find the hotel itself, it needs better directions to find it. The location, although good in some aspects is bad in others. There is a bar below, in front of the hotel and they party every single night till about 5 am and then do clean up. It is very noisy. Parking very difficult. Hard to find. The night club in the building under the hotel was very noisy (till 4 a.m. every night). Small bathroom. Hard to find, baths were too small and no TV for that time of the day where you want to relax and unwind. bathroom was small. The impossible parking. Late night music. Bit noisy because of bars and night clubs in old town. hard bed and "convent-like" style in room decoration and equipment. the breakfast was quite simple and a little dull. It was very hot for breakfast on terrace - routine items Bathrooms are terrible since it is an old mansion converted into hotel - the owner did agree that the bathrooms requires renovation not sufficient light & airing in the rooms. Hotel next door renovations was noisy 1metre away room Ilios should not be in use work started at 07.30. bath/shower was almost unusable. bath too small to do anything but sit.NO TV.Poor breakfast.very difficult to find and FREE parking nearby is a joke!!!.
