I've came back from Royal Sun hotel few days ago. We spent there whole week, and if I will be ever back in Chania I will choose this same hotel one more time :). Hotel was nice, rooms were cleaned every day. View from hotel is great, you can see whole town center and the sea. It is located about 3 km from center but this was not a problem, hotel offers you free ride to\from center if you will ask them up to 30 minutes earlier (usually 10 minutes is enough from hotel and 15 minutes if you are in.

Our staying at this hotel was wonderful!!!!Starting from the first minutes!We are very grateful to Kristo - he was waiting for us (we arrive after midnight), first contact was great and very very friendly! It was feeling, that we arrive home and everybody were waiting for us - warm and cosy.Hotel staff is wonderful - doing a lot of work and very attentive, in the good mood every time!Location of hotel - is spectacular - super great view to Chania city, old town, sea and. The location is perfect. Chania is reachable by foot (a walk of 45 min.) or with the excellent service of the hotelbus. Even in october the bus brings you to the old center (Agora) or picks you up from 10.30 till 00.00. The fresh oranje juice and possibility to have cappuccino at the bar. The kitchen is opened whole day till 23.00 and the quality of the food is realy good. Antonis, the man at the reception was always very helpfull and kind. Because of our late flight back Antonis arranged the . AMAZING staff, the breakfast was really good (the chef makes himself these small cheesecakes which are to die for!). The common areas are really great (restaurant/bar, pool...) The hotel is not located in the city center but just outside the city which makes it really quiet. Regarding the rooms, they are quite simple (not renovated like the common areas), the beds are amazing and if you take a room with sea sight, it is breath taking!. We were very satisfied during our stay. The personel was very kind and professional. The hotel manager was really helpful. The hotel is situated on a hill and has breathtaking view of the entire town.It's really ideal because it is quite but not far from the center of the town. The room was clean, the balcony huge, the restaurant had a large variety of beers and good quality food for low prices. Real value for money. Excellent hotel. Its so good that I will be back ther in 15 days. no need to find another hotel. very helpful and friendly staff. very clean. perfect location with the best view i believe, of any other hotel over chania city and harbour.very logical bar and food prices with quality food. Congratulations to Kostas for the nice cake he makes. allmost everything was excellent ,big and clean room with large balcony and exceptional view to the town,large and clean piscine,breakfast with large variety and fresh juice,van for free transport to the city center, and all these at a very good price i deffinitly will stay there again in my next visit to chania. Don't think you can get better value for your money. Greath and clean swimming pool, nice panoramic views over Chania. Excellent shuttle service to Chania, so you can easily chose between tranquility(hotel) or liveliness (town). Friendly and helpful people, niceromms ... can't really tell something negative. I loved the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, the hospitality, no fuss, great service, super friendly and nice staff. They made me feel welcome and at home. I loved that the Hotel was set up in the hills, the views were astounding by night and day. The restaurant serves delicious meals and reasonably priced. The staff were excellent, informative and helpful. The beds were comfortable. Internet connection great. Transport to and from the town perfect. We spent very nice 8 days here, enyoing swimming pool, visiting Chania (pick-up to/from city in any time). We reccomend this hotel. Beautiful view of the Chania city, huge pool with extra towels, parking, clean room with big bathroom and bathtab. They used to chagne towels everyday! Also, TV with usb port, wifi free of charge. Value of money!!. Lovely pool and sun lounger area and big balcony with a lovely view of Chania. The room was big and clean with a comfy bed and the breakfast/restaurant area had a lovely terrace. There were loads of free transfers to town from the town. Localization of the hotel on the hill over the city maybe looks like a big distance, but there is free transportation to the center organized by hotel and You can enjoy quiet and super view from almost every window of the building. Great location with the best views of Chania. The friendliest staff, shuttle available into town every half hour and a restaurant available if you just want to relax at the hotel. Our visit to royal sun was fantastic. i liked everything about this hotel. nice service - SO Pretty :). The beautiful swimmingpool is not heated, so we used it only for a quick cooling down. The breakfast is complete but the warm food (like scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes) was not warm despite the chafing dishes. The noisiness of the room we booked in the older part of the hotel. The room we stayed in was not renovated yet. We understand that all rooms will be renovated this winter. nothing. small and old bathroom,non proffesional stuff but very friendly and helpfull. Nothing. It is not in the centre of the town, but by car not far (10 minutes). Expensive breakfast. The hotel was further out from town than I thought it would be and the restaurant could have been better, although the lunches we had there were really nice. Bathrooms are a bit tired but everything else makes up for this!. Difficult to access without a car. Away from Chania city. Cannot explore the city by walk from this hotel. Coffee needs improvement.owner indicated he was going to address this. The room was a little run down and the plumbing can be noisy in the middle of the night!! No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. nothing. Small rooms and a bit far from center of Chania (Oold Town) or the beach. Nothing. Liked everything but if you don't have a car, you should choose a location closer to the old town. The 'fitness' room could have been made more obvious. You can hear all the people in the rooms around you. the location is a little isolated. Breakfast not included. room of second floor hear de noise of the third floor breakfast room. none. Nothing.
