  Highly recommend this place if going to Schwangau. Very clean, friendly staff, great atmosphere with views of the castles. Tons of bikes to use, which I recommend using, for a ride around the lake. - Extremely helpful staff. Very friendly and with good English. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable.

  My stay in the hotel was excellent and I liked everything from theappartment to the breakfast variety and the good food in the resturant.I am a frequent traveller and I went in many hotels around Europe but Ithink the Helmerhof is one of the best I stayed in. - Great breakfast, pleasant roomy accommodation, helpful staff.   We visit two families with small children, so we selected junior suite rooms. It was quite good facilities. - Quite a nice room for a reasonable price, wonderful location very close to the 2 castles.

  Friendly staff and welcome - great restaurant - very interesting hotel with much history - we only stayed one night as we were on our way to Italy by motorcycle, but would definately return for a longer stay. - Very pleasant. The hotel and the room are very nice

  I worked here in the early 80's and it was one of the best places i have ever visited, i met some great people and fell in love with Germany. it looks like it has been modernised since I worked there.
